This new bass from SX guitars features classic styling at a great low price! The body of the bass is beautiful solid Ash sealed with a poly-urethane finish to let the natural wood show through. Dual cutaways allow access to the highest frets. Bound Bolt on Maple neck. Maple fretboard with 20 jumbo frets and contrasting black block inlays create a stunning look. The body on this bass is worth the price alone! Two passive pickups are controlled from two volume and one tone control for tremendous sound flexibility. Bold chrome vintage saddle and a 2-ply BLACK pickguard create a powerful look. The head stock features chrome hardware. Width of the neck at the nut is 1 5/8", and at the 12th fret it is 2 1/4". Thickness of the neck at the first fret is 7/8", and at the 12th fret it is 15/16". Radius is 14". Overall length is 45". Scale length is 34". Width at the widest point is 13".
